Best Western Gatehouse Hotel, Ipswich

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and airy, even better than a 4-star I recently visited, with modern facilities. The service was fabulous, with very friendly and helpful staff. The location was great for exploring Suffolk's tourist attractions like Sutton Hoo and Flatford Mill. The dining experience was fantastic, offering a variety of choices in a spacious dining room. The facilities were top-notch, adding to the overall positive experience.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were immaculate and finished to a most desirable standard, offering excellent space for hanging clothes and drawers. However, the room was very cold and noisy late into the night due to a party nearby. Additionally, I noticed soiled carpets and mold in the bathroom.

My stay at the hotel was lovely. The room was exactly what we needed, clean, and had adequate storage; the feature sleigh bed was a nice touch. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially accommodating our late check-in. The location, though initially hidden, turned out to be quiet and convenient for visiting nearby attractions. The dining experience was fantastic with plenty of choices, although the breakfast time was a bit late for my liking. Overall, a great value for a comfortable stay.
